Hi I’m Lynda. I am a volunteer and founder member of a social club for people with and without disabilities (a registered charity). I have been an active Committee member since the Club’s formation in the late 1980’s. I undertake many roles on the committee including Chairperson. I was awarded The Order of the British Empire Medal in recognition for my services to this charity over 27 years granted in the Birthday 2016 Honours List.

In my spare time I enjoy concerts, theatre, cinema, and I have a passion for my garden. My working background is administration and clerical.

As a person with a disability, I am a recipient of adult health and social care for many years.
